Description
Matte Chrome Red sits in a category of its own. You get the full depth and metallic saturation of chrome, but the finish stays calm and non-reflective. None of the blinding flash of mirror chrome, none of the flatness of a standard matte red. The result is a rich, dimensional red that shifts with the light and reads as premium from every angle.
This wrap is built on a polymeric PVC face film with a solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive and a PET plastic release liner. It installs dry or wet, conforms well to curved panels, and repositions cleanly during placement so you can dial in alignment before committing.
Key features
- Matte chrome finish: deep red chrome saturation with zero mirror-like glare, more striking than standard metallic red and calmer than mirror chrome
- Polymeric PVC face film for flexibility and conformability on curved body panels
- Solvent-based acrylic air-release adhesive channels out bubbles during installation and allows repositioning
- PET plastic release liner for consistent peel and clean adhesive transfer
- Heat resistance from -30 C to +140 C handles cold climates and engine-bay heat without delamination
- Dry or wet install compatible, giving installers flexibility to work in the method they prefer

New to wrapping?
If this is your first wrap, our guide on how to wrap a car covers the prep, heat-gun technique, and edge-tucking that chrome finishes need. Chrome vinyl is less forgiving than matte, so professional install is the safest route for a full-car job.
